Nothing like the other stand alone chat client, Gsenger is just 4 months old. But we are glad to see tens and thousands of people downloading it. People have been enjoying this program for its user-friendly-chatting, friend searching, hookup looking features.

So far this is the best chat client made for the gay.com community. And we are proud of it. Gaysenger is a free software with no string attached.
The best way to keep us going and add in new features is to pass your words to your friends about our "gaysenger" or just put this keyword on your blog/profile and link to us.

Everything listed on this page is important, especially when you are new to a non-webbased chat software.

  • Recommend to turn off automatic-start webbased gay.com chat. Details
  • Make sure no frequent monitoring of rooms (to monitor 3-5 rooms at a time w/ 120sec refresh interval is normal)
  • Save Gsenger to a blank folder. All configurations and chat logs will be saved in that folder.


  • Turn on/off default value of "monitor all channels" in software settings.
  • Turn on/off default value of "show photo gallary/image thumbnail panel" in software settings.
  • Turn on/off default value of "show chat room text" in software settings.


  • Cannot start Gsenger: update your java to version 1.5
  • Image viewer always behind main window: windows users, update your java to version 1.5
