Nothing like the other stand alone chat client, Gsenger is just 4 months old. But we are glad to see tens and thousands of people downloading it. People have been enjoying this program for its user-friendly-chatting, friend searching, hookup looking features.

So far this is the best chat client made for the gay.com community. And we are proud of it. Gaysenger is a free software with no string attached.
The best way to keep us going and add in new features is to pass your words to your friends about our "gaysenger" or just put this keyword on your blog/profile and link to us.

Dummy Help [for lazy guys]

What's the difference between "Enter rooms" & "Monitor rooms"

"Enter a room"

  • You are logged in a chat room with a channel #.
  • Non-paid users have limitation on enter "full channels";
  • Non-paid users have limit of 2 rooms/channels at a time.
  • You can enter one room/channel in one window.

"Monitor a room".

  • There is no limitation how many rooms you can monitor!
  • You can monitor multiple rooms in one window at a time by monitoring a "directory".
  • No one in the room knows you are watching.

How to open room chat box by default?

Most of default behaviors settings can be set in "Tools->options". You can set to open public room chat window by default in "Tools->Options->General Settings".

How to filter people in the room?

Select icons you have no interests, click the trash bin. They won't show up until check the "Show all members" button in toolbar.

I don't want the room manager pop up when Gsenger starts.

Go to "Tools->Options->General Settings"

How to disable auto-update?

Currently there is no way to do so. Since Gsenger is still a beta version, we may deliver important bug fix at anytime. To ignore a update message, you can click the "Later" or "Not until next release". When Gsenger gets stable and has most functions ready, a auto-update disable choice will be provided.

No other information sent other than Gesenger version info and your OS type to gaysenger.com in the entire application.
